Balbir and Harmeet Bans, founders and owners of Bans & Bans GbR, opened their first Indian restaurant in 1996 under the name AMRIT.<\/p>

The family business has been run by the Bans brothers ever since.<\/p>

Without our parents we would not be where we are now. Almost all of the basic recipes for Indian cuisine in our restaurants are based on our mother's recipes.<\/p>

The Bans brothers fulfill their dream and found their first Indian restaurant under the name AMRIT.<\/p>

AMRIT stands for original Indian dishes of the best quality. In 1999 the brothers opened the next Indian restaurant in the Berlin Mitte district with the support of their family. In the meantime, AMRIT has made a name for itself in Berlin.<\/p>

This has proven itself because four years later Balbir and Harmeet Bans can open another Indian in Berlin Sch\u00f6neberg.<\/p>

Coincidentally, Balbir worked for a long time in front of his own restaurants in Sch\u00f6neberg on Winterfeldtplatz and learned to love the area. Also at the opening of the flagship store directly on Potsdamer Platz, where another Indian restaurant opened in 2013, \"Papa Bans\" gives his blessing and smashes a coconut in the entrance area of \u200b\u200bthe restaurant.<\/p>

This ceremony should give positive energy for the future.
